How to get to Thassos

You can get to Thassos by ferry boat either from the port of Kavala, or the port of Keramoti.

From Kavala

You reach the port of Kavala by bus from Thessaloniki, Athens or any other major north Greek city, or by your own vehicle, and then by ferry boat, you reach the port of Skala Prinos. From there, you head south and after 27 km you get to Potos. The first entrance to Lysistrata’s Bungalows is located at the beach road and you will see it by turning right to the main crossroad, and then turn left at the second left turn. The second entrance leads to our parking and is located by turning right after you pass the main crossroad of Potos. For our exact location please see the map provided.

From Keramoti

You reach the port of Keramoti by bus from Chrisoupoli or Xanthi, or by your own vehicle, and by ferry boat you get to the port of Limenas. From there you head southwest and after 42 km you get to Potos. The first entrance to Lysistrata’s Bungalows is located at the beach road and you will see it by turning right to the main crossroad, and then turn left at the second left turn. The second entrance leads to our parking and is located by turning right after you pass the main crossroad of Potos. For our exact location please see the map provided.

By airplane

Even though Thassos doesn’t have an airport you can use the airport of Megas Alexandros of Chrisoupoli. There are daily flights especially during summer season (May-Sept). From there, by taxi, you get to the port of Keramoti and by ferry boat you get to the port of Limenas. From there you head southwest and after 42 km you get to Potos.
