Skala Sotiros

Skala Sotiros is a fishing village and it has a special interest, not only for the sea and the traditional taverns, but for the fact that the archaeological research brought in light the remains of an ancient village. As the latest excavations showed, the entire hill of Profitis Ilias consists of the remains of this ancient village which is seems to be from the archaic period.

Skala Sotiros is a graphic village with traditional houses and rich vegetation. It has beautiful and peaceful coasts where the facilities of Roman Baths were found. There are also some remains there which seem to be from the age of Copper.
