After the Byzantine period, this village was named Kaki Rachi (Bad Ridge) due to the fact that it was not accessible by the pirates. The people of this ancient place established there until 1750. The modern village of Kallirachi (Good Ridge) is built in an amphitheatrically way on a hill full of olive trees. Just before the entrance, a smaller road to the left leads us to a -single arch- stone bridge , which connects the two edges of the river and is part of the old aqueduct.

In the village, you can see the church of St. Dimitrios which was built at the end of 17th century. Built on a rock, opposite of the village of Kallirachi, lies the chapel of Metamorfosi Sotiros (Transfiguration of Christ). You can also have a walk in the pine forest located there.
